Nativity

"Blue Monday" Nativity Set
Thank you Hostess Sally for hosting "Blue Monday" for some fabulous inspirational ideas and fun!...

Be sure and visit the other participants at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/

Since it is so close to Christmas I thought I would show my Nativity Set, because Joseph and Mary and some of the Wise Men are wearing blue cloaks and clothes.

This Nativity Set is made out of crepe paper. It is very special to me because my Mom [RIP] bought it for me a long time ago. I wanted it but was newly married and on a budget at that time so she went out of her way and purchased it for me. I always remember it when I put it out on the Holidays.
Baby Jesus.

Virgin Mary.

I love the detail and expression on Mary's face........she really looks like she is praying.

Joseph just looking on.

Joseph and two of the Wise Men bringing gifts.

This is a back view of the Wise Men.

Joseph, Mary and the Baby Jesus.
Thank you for stopping by and be sure to visit the other participants.
Love to hear any comments...........

  3. WOW Erica you lived in a swanky neighbourhood LOL very very pretty indeed. I'm just kidding ya, but it looks WOW.
Your "Creche" Nativity Scene is so beautiful. I love the fact that the featured are so expressive. Never have seen such a lovely crepe paper creche, really. I have our family's but it looks nothing like yours. It's all mix and match, just how I like em.
    Happy Blue Monday
