Blue Glass Jewels

Last weekend in downtown Toronto we had  Turkish Festival..........my husband has a Turk background so we enjoy going to get some real authentic Turkish food, a concert and  looking at crafts. It was a very enjoyable time as my husband met up with a lot of his friends........he even got to march in the parade with our daughter. I didn't go so  I sat this one out, listening to the drummer beating away.

They had lots of crafts with lots of BLUES due to them having the Turkish BLUE Evil Eye, which they decorate with  all sorts of items..... and hand painted tiles with all different colours of rich BLUES.

Here I spotted a man blowing glass and some of his works I'm showing. Yes.....I managed to buy a few pieces from his 10 year old daughter who was the sale/girl, she was so cute.

These colourful pieces are for necklaces. Gorgeous turquoise BLUES.

Turkish BLUE Evil Eye rings...I managed to purchase a couple of these rings.. They are supposed to take the Evil Eye that someone gives you......so the legend says.

This young girl was hand painting some beautiful flowers onto some pieces for necklaces.

A beautiful BLUE flower painted on for a necklace.
