CHOCOLATE FLOWERS (BLUES)
While we were in Rome (I miss it already)......we stayed right next door in a hotel to The Pantheon. A dream come true for me, for I'm always interested in History and especially Architecture. Well right down the ancient winding streets was a Gelato place.....(ice cream). They had any flavour you wanted..... it was like an Ice Cream Wonderland. I stood there for hours (just kidding) wondering which flavour I wanted to try....but then I noticed you could get a few flavours of each into one cone...so that's what I did, and I thought I was in heaven. To top it all off they plunked this yummy decadent piece of chocolate on to the top of your ice cream cone.....
Then as I was walking around I noticed these chocolate flower candies, some were BLUE and some were a very bright orange.....which were very pricey but worth every penny when that chocolate melted in tour mouth. They looked so pretty with those vibrant colours also. Actually the whole shop looked amazingly delicious and sweet...and I did have to hold myself back, so I wouldn't get a sugar rush.....
Today I'm linking to Monday Blues.smilingsallyblogspot.com
