TURKISH BAZAAR

Today I'm showing  "BLUE" from a Bazaar in Turkey.....I think that every Bazaar that I have visited in Turkey they all have that "BLUE" sheet covering their tables. It sort of I think brings out the fruit and veggies vibrant colours.
I could hang around these Bazaars all day if I could....it is so vibrant and busy there with anything you want or like they have. The fruit and veggies are amazingly fresh and most are organic......the fruit and veggies actually taste and smell like they should...especially if they are in season...because they are brought to the market just freshly harvested.
This is one of the smaller Bazaars in a village.....the city Bazaars are quite big...it takes hours to go through them. The noise there is quite loud with the vendors screaming something about their stalls.....trying to entice customers with their things...... funny I found that you just can't pick up a fruit or veggie and start looking at it or squeezing it...not allowed. You tell the seller how much of a weight you want and they will bag it for you...everything is so perfect that it doesn't matter if I don't squeeze the fruit or veggie or look it over.

 Poor chickens....

Hope you enjoyed my tour for Blue Monday...Thanks for stopping by.

  1. That food looks so fresh and probably grown the old fashioned way. The country ladies look the same as they did when I attended college in Turkey, and look at that beautiful cobblestone street.

  3. Terra's comment is so true. Apart from the prices and the plastic chair, these photos could have been taken any time in the last 50 years.

    1. Hi BB......It is true everything looks the same....I love the worn shabby look on some of the things, especially buildings. Living in Canada there is really nothing over 150 years old so all this is fascinating for me. Thanks for stopping by.
