Niagara Falls Mist (USA side)

Living about an hour from the US border we go over quite often to shop and stay there for a few days........this is when we stayed at Seneca Casino. We have the same exact  stores but prices are lower and it's like a small get away for us.......even though we are so close to home. We normally don't stay here mainly because we don't gamble and it's not in the shopping mall area.
If the Casino doesn't have a good stage show or any popular celebs are coming the price of the hotel is low......but when something good is going on the price can be 4 times the price of the hotel room. I guess they know you going to stay there so why not hike up the price.

These pics were taken this past summer when we stayed at the Seneca Casino in Niagara falls on the US side.

Beautiful BLUE sky and in the background is the Canadian side.

Seneca Casino , Niagara Falls, NY. we stay here sometimes.....way up on the 29th floor. I don't like staying up too high but my husband always does, he says he can see a view.

You can see the mist in the background from Niagara Falls in the early morning. This is the USA side and looking onto the Canadian side....and all the hotels and attractions.

Canadian side in the background with the hotels and attractions. You can see a bit of the Gorge along the mist.

  3. Lovely blue skies. I haven't seen it from the American side. The view of Horseshoe falls is spectacular from the Canadian side.

    1. Not because I'm Canadian but the Canadian side is a lot better for viewing and more things to do there.

  5. Love Niagara. We have been there twice but have not stayed at a hotel because our daughter lives in Buffalo. We have seen it from both sides but I have no pictures of that great mist. Do you min if I add a couple of your photos to my Niagara collection? You got some great shots.

  6. Lucky you, I went to Niagara Falls when I was a young girl and I remember hearing the falls all night when I was trying to sleep. We went back a few years ago and love both sides of the falls. an amazing place.

  7. The view of the mist over the falls, from the high rise hotel, is great. This is somewhere I have never been...but, it's on the list. Thanks for posting such dramatic pictures. Jx
